Název VESELKY není od slova VESELKA - SVATBA, ale vyjadřuje veselost cérek - tanečnic z Folklórního souboru MORAVA, které se jednoho krásného dne rozhodly, že svou lásku k folklóru rozvinou, a to o muzicírování.
Zpočátku byly známy jako ŠROŤANKA (přičemž si každý může představit význam slova po svém).
Prostě u hraní bylo vždy veselo, tančilo se, zpívaly se ty nejobyčejnější písničky, které vždy chytly lidi u srdce (v dobrém slova smyslu).
Impuls k názvu VESELKY byl zcela náhodný... v jedné hospůdce zvolal jakýsi mladík: „Jééé, selka... a v kroji!“ Takže hned padl návrh na název kapely SELKY, ale holky veselé z toho všeho vymyslely název svého uskupení jako VESELKY.
Repertoár se rozrostl od „obyčejných“ lidových písní také k tematickým okruhům lidových zvyků, písní, tradic. Jen ať je i nadále veselo s muzikou VESELKY! :)
Cimbálová muzika VESELKY je schopná hrát na různých společenských, ale i sportovních akcích jako: oslavy narozenin, svatby, firemní akce, plesy, oslavy dnů obcí, měst atd. Cimbálová muzika VESELKY hraje živě, má ale možnost hrát na aparaturu, která ozvučí až 200 osob.
Délka programu cimbálové muziky VESELKY, počet účinkujících se určují od konkrétní akce a požadavku pořadatelů. Má vlastní dopravu.
At first they were known as ŠROŤANKA (while everyone can imagine the meaning of the word in their own way). Simply, there was always a lot of fun at music, dancing, singing the most ordinary songs that always caught people's hearts (in a good way).
The impulse for the name VESELKY was completely accidental... In one pub a young man exclaimed: „Hey, a farmwife, and in costume!" So the name SELKY (farmwives) was immediately suggested but the girls, happy about it all, came up with the name of their group as VESELKY (cheerful farmwives).
In the composition of music prim, terc, contras, dulcimer, bass there are still other singing dancers. So often the performance of FS Morava is combined with the music of VESELKY, when the musicians run off to dance to the reproduced music and then... hurrah, back to the instruments
The name VESELKY is not from the word marriage but it expresses the cheerfulness of the dancers from MORAVA Folklore Ensemble who one fine day decided to develop their love for folklore by making music.
The repertoire has grown from „ordinary“ folk songs to thematic areas of folk customs, songs, traditions.

Dulcimer band VESELKY is able to play at various social, but also sporting events such as: birthday parties, weddings, corporate events, balls, celebrations of the days of villages, towns etc.
The dulcimer music VESELKY plays live, but it has the possibility to play on the apparatus that can sound up to 200 people.
